I've worked in computer systems design for most of my career and written fiction for the past 40 years, all my novels have been co-written with a long-standing friend, Jack Everett - also a member of PatronQuo. My parents instilled a life-long interest in F&SF by insisting it was rubbish & rationing my reading of it, a significant amount of our work is f&sf - try searching "Everett Coles" on Amazon for some of it. We also write historical - thrillers & mystery, search "David Coles and Jack Everett" for a sample. More than one book is in progress & will be available over coming months. I'm retired and probably put in more hours on the keyboard than I did when I was working for a living. I have droves of daughters (at least 3) who are all grown up and have provided me with grandchildren and a pair of great grandchildren.
