I recently stumbled upon this website, and thought it was a great place for authors to be "discovered", as I realize getting into the publishing world can often be more about who you know, than who you are and what your writing stands for. I am a 27 year old English major turned nursing student. While my passions currently lie with Nursing and science, I still hold a dear place in my heart for creative writing. "Hanging Wasp" was the first story I read here, and something special reasonated with me. I plan to continue coming back to read what others are writing!
