Well I am not sure what Patron Quo is looking for in terms of my bio in 1500 words or less, but here it is. I was born in California, grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and attended Mount Holyoke College with Cori. We were both in the graduating class of 1972 (yeah, we are old - so what). I am now an architect living in Washington DC. and got my Master of Architecture degree in 1987, after much procrastination about deciding what I wanted to do when I grew up. Along the way I did some fun but not very profitable things such as boat carpentry, living on a 35 foot sailboat, traveling etc. So at around 32 I decided it was time for a career. Oh geez, 889 more words to go. I wish I could claim that I was a Pulitzer prize winning author since that would lend more credence to my patronage of Hanging Wasp, but I am not. It's a great beginning chapter. Vinca is kind of scary. I have been lost in 19th century literature for the past few years, so it is difficult to adjust to characters that say "fuck" and wear purple wigs. I do not have an eating disorder in case you are wondering why I chose to be a patron. Nor am I a lesbian. But I have been teaching architecture at Catholic University in the past year. Thank God no one has used the words "learning aquistion" which sounds like something one purchases.
